Giyuu is a fairly tall man with a slender build, dark hair, and blue eyes. His hair is quite short and usually unkempt. Giyuu wears the standard Demon Slayer Corps uniform, which consists of a black outfit with white trousers and geta – traditional Japanese wooden sandals. The most distinctive element of his attire is a navy blue haori with a pattern resembling white waves. He is a rather reserved and introverted man who rarely shows his emotions. He often appears indifferent or apathetic, though this may be partly due to trauma from his past, when he lost his family and friend. Despite this, he is extremely loyal to the Demon Slayer Corps and is determined to protect people from demons.
